Installed 4/29/2013 on 2007 Buick Lucern at 34000 car miles -- Less than 1500 miles run on since installation -- continually loose tire pressure (using nitrogen). Tech says leaking around rim; says they have cleaned the rims and sealed tire and rim.
This understood by anyone w/remedy?

tire pressure leak
by: SNR

Water bath showed leaks. Tech says it's from 'pitting' of my chrome wheels; factory installed O E, 2007 Buick Lucern CXL. Thank you

Seems Odd

Tech obviously hasn't sealed the tyre otherwise you would be maintaining your pressure.

Could be leaking around the valve or valve stem, even a welded seam if you have one.

Has the Tech given the tyre a water bath test as i'm sure that would show the leak.

As a last resort I once used tyre sealent. The kind that sits in your tyre and automatically repairs punctures as you get them and it worked.

Good Luck!
