Called 3 times to find out michelins factory road force tolerance spec they have fail to supply this information
The Michelin company will not answer my inquire on their production tolerances as to road force.
This is a important imperfection in all tires that should be kept as low as possible. Goodyear will freely ,when asked, supply this info.It is measured in lbs. of force.Goodyear goes on to state that no production tire will leave the factory if it exceeds their tolerance level.Michelin on the other hand refuses to supply this information to their customers. Why? Is it because their tolerance specs are high thus causing a higher propensity for a bounce on every rotation of the tire that can create a rougher ride. I have Harmony Michelins tires that need to be replaced at 90000 miles. Reading the problems people have with the Michelin defender along with this company's failure to supply production tolerances I will not be purchasing MICHELIN tires. And if you are thing about buying Michelins proceed with caution.
