The Zeon 2XS from Cooper Tires are popular for those that are looking for a very high performing summer tire. Having speed ratings of V, W, and Y mean that owners of these tires can expect fantastic steering response, handling through cornering, and very good traction in both dry and wet conditions.

Handling is said to be 'quick and crisp' because of a center rib and a tread pattern that evacuates water away from the contact area. A 'Double Shoulder Tread Element' reduces noise and vibration, making for a comfortable ride.

To improve wear on the tire, Cooper has tapered the tread depth so there are deeper treads towards the center. This allows for more material on the part of the tire that wears the quickest. For those concerned with long wear life in a tire, this is a great feature.

 

Cooper Zeon 2XS's are currently priced at about $160 at Sears Tires, and Cooper offers a 45 day road test. These are very high performing tires.

• "I love the Cooper Zeon 2XS tires. I bought them from Sears Tires over a year ago and have loved the performance and handling. Wet weather driving is noticeably better than the Goodyear tires I had before."
• I have owned Goodyear, Kumho Ecsta, and BF Goodrich tires, the Zeon 2XS's are the best I have had... great traction and long tread life. With my driving style I'd have to replace the other tires within a year, but the Cooper Zeon 2XS tires lasted about twice as long. Anyone looking for performance tires should seriously look at these.

People looking looking for a great all-around long lasting tire will appreicate the Zeon's. The price is right, and this tire company has proven to put out quality tires for a very long time.

If you're in the market for tires that perform very well and are not crazy expensive, then you should get over to Sears Tire and pick them up. At the time of this review, several of the Discount Tire Company stores were stating that they didn't have them in stock but could order them.
