Discarding CS4's - poor winter performance
Well winter is here again in Minnesota and after driving the winter of 2013-14 on Cooper CS4's (as new tires) I have decided to discard these tires with only 20,000 miles on the tires rather than to put myself through the frustrations of another winter on CS4's. These tires can not navigate a mer 2" of snow ( I am not talking ice but
only a light snow) and they do no better stopping on snow.
To be fair the tires have worn evenly, show good tread, ride quietly and perform well in the summer.
Just can not take another winter on these tires and will be buying the same tires that we have on my wife's car.
(guess what? Not a Cooper tire).
