Dry rot prone

Have different type of Michelins on two different vehicles. One set is 2 yrs old, the others are 3yrs old. Both have extensive dry rot on shoulder and side wall. Seeing on other peoples vehicles as well. Huge safety issue that Michelin is just sticking head in sand about. Over-priced junk tires. Spend money on any other brand of tire.

Dry rot and cracking NEW
by: Concerned in OKLA.

2012 GMC terrain. Michelin 235/55/R18 49,000 miles.
Rotated tires every 7,000 mi. At rotation 08/22/14
concerned mechanic showed me how bad the tires were cap rotting and sides cracking. He warned of safety hazard. Now concerned for family safety until replacement of tires. It will not be with Michelin.
