First, this is Goodyear's premium performance tire. To get this high performance, the tire is going to give less wear than a regular tire due to the softer rubber compound. So, to expect long wear from them is unreasonable.
Second, this tire has been original equipment on Ford police cars for a long time. In fact, it is considered to be the measuring stick for police tires. It always does well in tests done by police departments, so for anyone to say that it does not perform well is also unreasonable. If it was not a great performer, the police departments across the nation would drop the tire.
Third, I have had this tire in both regular RSA and also RSA plus versions, and it has worn evenly, performed flawlessly, and even lasted longer than I expected. I think the Firehawk pursuit tire is better, but the RSA is still a good tire. I wonder if those writing negative reviews rotate and monitor their tire pressure.
