Guardsman Tires 185/75R14

I work for Sears Auto and never dreamed of purchasing the Guardsman when they were made by a Goodyear a short time back.

But then Cooper came along, and I needed two tires to drive across the country (from Lakeland, FL to Myrtle Creek, OR in November) while moving. So I went ahead and hesitantly purchased these tires, placing them on my '94 Chev Cavalier. I have had these tires on for about 25,000 miles; I need an alignment (and needed one when they were purchased) so the insides are worn--but I have more than half tread life left on the rest. I can say without hesitation I would have gotten full life (50k miles, up from 40k when Goodyear made them) if not more as long as I would have done my part. They handle great in both wet and dry conditions, with a smooth, very quite ride.

I recommend these tires on a regular basis to my customers. And am getting ready to buy another set (with an alignment!) I love them that much.
