Is the AT2 really a Michelin tire?
I have used Michelin radials since they had tubes. They have been wonderful tires and have always liked that Michelin "feel" - until now.
I am running a set of AT2's on a Tacoma and find them to be most unlike a Michelin. They create a low rumbling noise that is annoying and unpleasant. They are stiff and "rough feeling", not smooth and silky like a Michelin tire. The handling is quirky and unsettled. They pick up rocks and fail to eject them. Both wet and dry traction are outstanding. They are a disappointment compared to the previous Michelins I had on this truck. They feel "cheap" and like they were made by some low line manufacturer.
