I've had three cars with the Eagle RSA's and love them

I've owned two Pontiac Vibe's (2004 & 2009) which are essentially the same as the Toyota Matrix and a Toyota Scion XB 2006. The Eagle RSA tires were quiet and my 2004 Vibe had 48,000 miles on them and they still had good tread. At 80 miles per hour, the Eagle RSA's on the New Jersey Turnpike are quiet.
The tires weren't noisy and wore well on all my cars. I think the tire noise is more of a function of the car and not so much the tires. I had a Honda CRV 1999 which was a noisy car with BF Goodrich Touring T/A tires which were sol loud, you could not hear the radio.
Sometimes the type of road you travel on will make the tires sound loud or quiet. So while everyone is blaming the tires, take a look at the road type and car. The tires are only 1/3 of the issue when there is loud road noise.
